Velux Round the World Race - Wednesday inspirations



In February this year the Velux Round The World Yacht Race visited Wellington, New Zealand. This round the world challenge has been taken on by four tough men, each one sailing a single boat against the elements.

While each boat may seem large, the waves can be 80 meters high and all the quipment must be able to stand huge amounts of physical punishment by wind and waves.    Details of the challenge with participants, boats and routes are here

Very interesting post. We doin't know much bout Yachting, but it always looks like fun when we watch it on TV. I'm sure it's not for the weakling.
