We are getting ready for launch day which is really soon. I am part of the Inspiration Department - yeah it's a tough one I know - what is inspiration, where do you get your inspiration? How can I find inspiration?

Whskr's Tuesday Treasures on ArtFire and Etsy
We are going to the wall this week!
Try this fun and easy and inexpensive way to brighten up your home

My second seller from ArtFire is matouenpeluche whose work is distinctive and very European. As someone inspired by the 1920's period myself I find her girls a delight, and her animals have a translucent quality that is quite capitvating. The Little Bird and Cherry Blossom below is here.

Extremely easy to apply, this product is one of the hottest new trends in interior design as well as home/business decor.
These are so easy to put on your wall and they transform a boring stretch of wall into something totally amazing. Check out their store here and the fantastic motif shown in the picture below here.

Whskr to be Columnist on HandmadeNews, and Guest Exhibitor @ Art Show
First I received an email asking me to be Guest Exhibitor at a local Art and Craft Show in September, then, a day later I was offered one of the positions as a Columnist on the upcoming HandmadeNews website which is due to go live soon.
I have to do a series of proper Art Dolls for the Show and the Columnist job is backed by the people at Artfire and requires a number of articles to be written by yours truly!
You bet I'm thrilled, as I now have enough to keep my busy making and writing for a fair time. This will require time management and steady nerves - I am just SO nervous and excited!!!!!
Expect lots of information on the new Handmadenews site soon (and a few requests for interviews and ideas).

Cat Colonies - How people help
My friend Sheilagh helps feral cats. This is a lovely little video - showing the love for cats of an ordinary woman and the extra mile she goes for ferals. I am very proud of her.
