Our Beloved Sooty has gone to the Rainbow Bridge

The time had come. She spent her last few hours this a.m. sleeping on my pillow while we were in bed, then cuddled in her favourite 'cave' position between us under the duvet (my arm played tentpole).

The vet said the cancer had spread to her liver and the chemo had not done as he hoped and put the cancer into remission.

She slipped quietly away on a bright day leaving a big hole in our lives and an ever bigger hole in our hearts.

If you know anyone who has a cat with Feline Lymphoma I recorded Sooty's treatment and our responses here in The Sooty Diaries.

Oh sweet Sooty, RIP - I also had to put my cat to sleep a few years ago and I still cry whenever I think of that day - it is so very hard when a loved pet passes - thinking of you, wishing you strenght, love Val

I'm so, so sorry for your loss. We recently lost our dog, so I completely understand what you must be going through. Rest in peace, sweet Sooty.

hugs,

Duni

I'm so sorry for your loss. I've been in the same position and lost a kitty and a dog to cancer so I know how hard it is. My thoughts are with you and although the pain is horrible, it'll never erase your wonderful memories of your dear Sooty.

I am so very sorry to read about Sooty. She was so fortunate to have loving parents who did everything they could to keep her healthy and happy. Rest assured, she is smiling down on you from her snuggly spot on the Rainbow Bridge.
